Microsoft UK is the main sponsor of ACCESS-IT, providing numerous benefits ‘in kind’ for the 2008 awards ceremony and also financially supporting extra requirements for the awards.

Please find below a detailed list of the support Microsoft gave to ACCESS-IT:

  • Use of Head Office Facilities to hold the Award Event
  • Catering, refreshments and full cost of winners meal covered
  • AV support and all material available on day
  • Provision of staff, dedicated to ACCESS-IT
  • Use of Press Office to promote the event

In addition two high profile employees of Microsoft, Matt Lambert (Director of Corporate Affairs) and Julian Price (Head of Citizenship) attended and presented at the awards.

Microsoft has expressed interest in continual support of ACCESS-IT in their quest to hold higher profile events.

eAbilities

eAbilities, the European Funded project organised its final dissimenation workshop as part of the Awards 2008 Ceremony and provided additional financial support and also sponsorship ‘in kind’ as well.
